Zakk Wylde Posts Bizarre Halloween Photo Wearing Nothing But a Pumpkin

Guitarist Zakk Wylde shared a photo today of himself wearing nothing but a pumpkin shell and a hat. The photo was part of a bizarre themed photo shoot for Zakk’s annual Halloween card.

Zakk Wylde aka Jeffrey Phillip Wielandt is best known as the lead guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne. He is also the founder, lead guitarist, lead singer, songwriter, producer, booking agent, roadie, manager and accountant for the heavy metal band Black Label Society.

Zakk Wylde In a Pumpkin Shell

Zakk has been creating elaborate Halloween cards since 1992. He sends them to members of his fan club as well as select friends, family members and fellow musicians. The annual Halloween card has become such a hit that fans trade them and sell them on Ebay. Last year, a card from 1992 in mint condition was sold at auction for $1.7 Million. It featured Zakk dressed like Madonna from the MTV Like a Virgin performance.

This years photo shoot featured Zakk in his birthday suit posing seductively in a pumpkin shell. The photo was taken at a farm stand in New Jersey. Unaware families of Pumpkin pickers were shocked when Zakk stripped down to his altogether climbed on the hay and started posing. His wife Barbaranne took the photos.

Life is Cheap

Witness Todd Wilchek commented, “I was out with my family for a day of wholesome fun. Then all of a sudden this giant, bare assed, hairy hulk of a man climbs up on the hay bales wearing nothing but a pumpkin shell. This is a public place, there were children crying. I was very upset because my wife was enjoying it a little too much. Then I come to find out it was one of those Heavy Metal music fans. That figures, they are a sick bunch, life is cheap to that kind. Personally, I prefer John Mayer.”

Other costumes that Wylde has used for Halloweens gone by include Hulk Hogan, The Tiger King, Hooters Girl, Michael Jackson, The Exorcist and Bill Cosby. “It’s a lot of fun and I do it for the fans” said Wylde. “It’s nice to give back to them. Except those weirdos who sell the cards for profit, F*k them!”
