Home Alone, of course, is the 1990 holiday classic movie starring Macaulay Culkin. Culkin plays rambunctious 8 year old Kevin McAllister. Kevin is accidentally left home alone when his family flies to Paris for Christmas. He is terrorized by bandits played by Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern, but hilarity ensues when Kevin turns the tables and booby traps the house.

The new Home Alone remake will be rated R and will be a mashup between the original “Home Alone” and the Stallone “Rambo” franchise. In the new remake, Kevin Rambo is left home alone after a Mexican drug cartel murders his entire family. The cartel misses Kevin who is sleeping in the attic.

The plot continues with Kevin setting a trap for the cartel as they come back to his house to finish him off. Instead of BB Guns, spiders and paint cans, Kevin arms himself with a cache of weapons that he finds in a trunk in the basement that belonged to his Grandfather, Poppa Rambo. The trunk contains hand guns, M1 rifles, hand grenades, machine guns, a flamethrower and a missile launcher. The cartel also does not know that Kevin spends summers survival training at his Grandpa’s ranch.

Climactic Finale

Needless to say Kevin gains the upper hand on the unsuspecting cartel. Little Kevin wipes out a hundred members of the enemy forces before Cartel reinforcements arrive. Kevin wipes out a hundred more with the flamethrower but is now trapped on the roof and surrounded. In the climactic finale, John Rambo flies to save the day in a Apache helicopter. He slaughters the cartel and extracts Kevin from the roof. They spend a lovely Christmas evening at John Rambo’s ranch enjoying Venison and watching “It’s a Wonderful Life” on TV.
