Poll: Majority Prefer Coronavirus Over Attending Genesis Reunion Concert

A new poll shows that most people would prefer being stricken with coronavirus rather than attend the upcoming Genesis reunion tour. 

The British rock band announced they are reforming for a 2020 tour, their first in over a decade. Phil Collins, Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford confirmed they will do a series of concerts this year. Founding member Peter Gabriel, who left the band in 1975, will not take part. “F*ck those guys” said Gabriel. “They only want to play that 80’s Genesis trash. I would rather play with Barry Manilow.”

The poll conducted by ‘Polls R Us’ located on Rt 9 in BattleCreek Michigan, surveyed 1000 random people and the coronavirus won by an landslide. Shockingly, only 2 people said they would prefer to see The Genesis Reunion Tour. 89 year old Tina Reitz, a diabetic with Rickets and HIV said “Well I guess I would rather see ‘Genesis’ even though I have no idea who they are. I am pretty sure I could survive a concert easier than I could COV-19. They basically mentioned my name when they describe the demographic that would die from coronavirus. My Grandson later told me I should risk the coronavirus.”

Healthy music fan, Dan Hornstein commented “Yes of course I would rather take my chances with coronavirus. There is a good chance of recovering from the virus, but I don’t think I could ever recover from listening to 2 hours of f*cking ‘ABACAB’ and ‘Paperlate’ What the f*ck are those 2 words anyway!?”

Phil Collins, unable to play drums due to being anally impaled by his drum stool last year, will be replaced on drums by his son Tom.
