Jimmy Page Places Ad on Craigslist for Lead Singer

Led Zeppelin Guitarist Jimmy Page has placed an ad on Craigslist to find a new lead singer. The tone and feel of the ad clearly hints that the singer will replace Robert Plant for a Led Zeppelin reunion.

Page has confirmed that he has already gotten hundreds of responses to the ad including several from Dee Snider and Sebastian Bach. “They were both groveling” said Page. “Please, please pick me and all that. They even offered sexual favors and I quickly said No Thank You. I told them No posers and no untalented hair metal wankers need apply.”

Reunion?

Led Zep fans have been going crazy all day at the thought of a Zeppelin reunion. Mike Nello tweeted, “I literally have been walking around with a chubb all day after hearing this. Of course I would love a reunion with Plant, but a new young unknown singer full of piss and vinegar could add some excitement.”

Singer Wanted

Successful, working rock band with following seeks lead singer. We have management and gigs lined up. Band of skilled and experienced mature musicians looking to welcome a front vocalist to sing lead.

We play all the songs you know (generally 60s, 70s blues rock with a viking Valhalla vibe). We are good musicians with great musical knowledge and just as importantly, we are respectful, open minded and friendly to one another. Also we were one of the greatest bands to ever live, but our original lead singer is a big douche and refuses to do reunions.

We are not looking for a celebrity just somebody that knows his craft. Dedication, and promptness should be a key. Extremely laid-back no head games, druggies or weirdos. Great stage presence, excellent hair and experience is a must.

Image & wheels a plus. Lead Vocalist should have access to a PA system. No one named Robert or Quincy need apply. Please call Jimmy for more details. Thank you.
