Jimmy Page Confirms He is Mastermind Behind Greta Van Fleet

Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page is the mastermind behind Greta Van Fleet. Page revealed the shocking news today during an interview with Claude Balzac of Madhouse News. Jimmy admitted that he created the Zeppelin-esque band in a lab in England in the mid 90s.

Initially Page began looking for new musical outlets after Robert Plant made it clear that he was not interested in a Led Zeppelin reunion. “I got the idea watching the telly” said Plant. “There were all these boy bands and it looked like they were created in a lab somewhere. Then I found out they actually were. There were a few impresarios that created them all in Bangkok. So I figured why not do a rock and roll version.”

Basically Page taught himself cloning and setup a lab in his castle in England. “First, I took some of Plant’s DNA and mixed it in with mine and Jonesy’s and sprinkled in a bit of Bonham’s. Then I used some old black magic. You know an eye of newt and toe of frog, that sort of thing. A little deadly night shade and voila I have 4 little musicians.”

Plant hired the Kiszka’s to raise the lads as their own in the states. The boys were given music lessons and assigned an instrument. They were forced to practice 12 hours a day and listen to nothing but Led Zeppelin music 24/7. Finally by 2017 the band was ready. Page named the band Greta Van Fleet after a groupie he knew in Detroit. She was allegedly involved in the fish incident.

Black Smoke Rising

Greta Van Fleet released their debut studio EP, Black Smoke Rising in 2017. Their debut single, “Highway Tune”, topped the Billboard U.S. Mainstream Rock and Active Rock charts in September 2017 for four weeks in a row. Page wrote all of the songs for the album and played most of the instruments. “In the beginning it was all me” said Page. “At the live shows I was backstage playing the guitar and John Paul Jones was playing bass. That kid did the singing himself though. Goes through my head like a nail but the girls love him.”

Page continued, “The boys have learned enough that they are totally self sufficient now. With AI they are writing their own songs and playing all their own instruments. I just sit back and watch all the money come rolling in. All things considered you have to admit it’s a genius idea, I bet you wish you thought of it.”
