Wassup Guys Farewell Tour

The Budweiser Wassup Guys are the latest icons to announce that the next tour will be their last. An extensive arena and amphitheater farewell tour – which will feature John Mayer as the opening act – kicks off October 18th at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma and wraps up December 12th at the Concord Pavilion in San Francisco, California.

The Wassup Guys first came to fame 20 years ago when their commercial aired during Monday Night Football, Dec 20, 1999. The ad was a huge sensation and catapulted the Wassup Guys into International Superstardom. In-fighting, drugs, insanity and murder eventually tore the act apart.

Wassup Farewell Tour

The Wassup Guys (Charles Stone III, Fred Thomas, Claude Balzac, Hugh Janus, Jimmy “Puerto Rock” Perez and Harry Beaver) have not spoken in 10 years, but will reunite for their 20th anniversary.

The ‘Wassup Guys’ show is called the ‘hot ticket’ of 2019. Scalpers are already selling tickets for over $1000 each. The concert will consist of the boys yelling “Wasssuuuuuuup” into a microphone for 90 minutes and that will still be better than listening to John Mayer.
