Nancy Pelosi Names Police Reform Bill After 60’s Comedian George Kirby

Nancy Pelosi inexplicably honors 60’s comedian George Kirby by naming the Democratic police reform bill after him.

Pelosi was speaking to reporters and discussing her conversation with George Floyd’s brother on naming the bill after George Floyd. “I said ‘I’ll recommend that to the Judiciary Committee and to the Congressional Black Caucus who have shaped the bill, but I only will do that if you tell me that this legislation is worthy of George Kirby’s name,’ and he said it is, and so we’re very proud, we’re very proud to carry that,” she said.

Those in attendance stated that mushmouth Pelosi was reeking of chardonnay and denture grip as she slurred her way through the press conference.

George Who!?

When told of the error, Pelosi stated. “Yes I love George Kirby, He is so funny, I used to watch him on The Ed Sullivan show all the time.”

When pressed further, that the bill should be named after George Floyd, Pelosi replied “George Floyd!? Who’s that!?” Her keepers quickly whisked her away.

George Kirby was a singer and comedian who was popular during the 1960’s & 1970’s. He appeared on all the TV shows of the time and had his own show briefly in 1972. Kirby was arrested in 1977 for selling cocaine and heroin to an undercover officer. He spent 3 years in prison and died in 1995.
