Michael Imperioli Beaten While Trying To Stop Man From Watching Sopranos

Actor Michael Imperioli was severely beaten after he tried to stop a man from watching “The Sopranos” on his cell phone. Imperioli recently declared that he forbades racists and homophobes from watching any of the TV shows or movies he appeared in. Michael tried to put his ban into motion on a man in a NJ Diner. Unfortunately Michael quickly learned the hard way that playing a gangster is not the same as actually being a gangster.

Imperioli was having breakfast at a NJ Diner when he witnessed another patron watching The Sopranos on his cell phone. Michael approached the man and told him that he looked like a racist and therefore banned from watching The Sopranos. The man was just minding his business trying to eat his Huevos Rancheros in peace. He had no idea what Imperioli was blabbering about so went back to watching his phone and eating his meal.

Imperioli was recording the incident on his cell phone as he yelled at the man “You’re also banned from watching Goodfellas. Yes, that’s right I was in Goodfellas. Remember Spider – that was me. I did other stuff besides Sopranos you know. You are banned from watching it all. If I walk over there again, there is going to be trouble.” The man replied, “You might walk over but you are going to be limping back.”

Imperioli then approached the man and tried snatching his phone away. The man then proceeded to smash a grapefruit into Michael’s face. He then bashed Imperioli over the head with a skillet. The man was skilled in MMA and choked Michael out in 45 seconds. Imperioli woke up with a terrible headache and his own cell phone inserted into his rectum.

Michael Imperioli did in fact limp back to his table and quietly called an ambulance. He was treated for a concussion, broken ribs and various scrapes and bruises. Imperioli commented, “I don’t know what went wrong. When I was filming The Sopranos, Christopher never lost a fight. They are not supposed to hit back.”

From 1999 to 2007, Imperioli starred as Christopher Moltisanti on the Iconic HBO crime drama, The Sopranos. Moltisanti was the “nephew” of Tony Soprano and a member of the Dimeo Crime Family. Chris was a drug addict, stock broker, club owner, band manager and aspiring screen writer. Tony finally had enough of his crap and kills him in season 6.
