Experts then classified this condition as a mental disorder. From this day forward, The disorder now known as “Ripperphenia” will be included in all text books and medical journals. Dr. Klaus Hinterleitner from the Institute in Vienna was instrumental in the classification. “This is an extremely rare and disturbing mental condition” said Dr Hinterleitner. “Who in their right mind would think Tim “Ripper” Owens is better than The Metal God Rob Halford. That is not a sound mind.”

Owens Vs Halford

Owens made headlines in 1996 when he went from being a fan and singer in a Judas Priest tribute band to actually joining the band. Tim replaced Rob Halford and recorded two unremarkable studio albums with Judas Priest. The movie “Rock Star” starring Mark Wahlberg was loosely based on Owens life. Halford rejoined the band in 2003 and Owens was sent packing.

A friend of the Dvoracek brothers, Robert Gurganious told Madhouse News, “At first I thought they were joking. But then they doubled down and it got darker. They wore Ripper Owens T-Shirts, only listened to the Priest music with Owens singing and even got matching Ripper tattoos. It’s sad actually and I hope they are now getting the help they so need.”
