DNA Test Confirms Sammy Hagar is Actor Jason Hervey’s Father

Sammy Hagar & Jason Hervey. When Actor Jason Hervey decided to do a DNA test, he did it all in good fun. He was shocked to learn that his Father is actually none other than the Red Rocker himself, Sammy Hagar. 

Jason Hervey not Harvey is best known for his role of Wayne Arnold on the coming-of-age, comedy/drama television series, The Wonder Years. The series stars Fred Savage as Kevin Arnold, a teenager growing up in a suburban middle class family in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Jason starred as the annoying brother Wayne from 1988-1993. Wayne was famous for giving Kevin wedgies, nuggies, purple nurples and calling him butthead.

Jason told Madhouse News, “People always told me that I looked like Sammy Hagar but I laughed it off. I actually didn’t know who he was. When people told me the lead singer of Van Halen, I would say oh you mean David Lee Roth.”

“Anyway, I bought these DNA test kits at the dollar store. So they must be accurate right? It caused quite a ruckus at home because my Father started looking strange at my Mother. He accused her of liking Van Hagar better than Van Halen. He demanded a full acounting of her whereabouts for the 9 months leading up to my birth in 1972. She swore that it was a mistake and that dollar store DNA test kits made in China cannot be trusted to be accurate. Things got ugly.”

Hervey continued, “However, after I got the test results back and they said Sammy was my father, I did a little research. The man has a net worth of $150 Million. Daddy! It’s me, your son Jason. The resemblance is uncanny. According to my calculations, Daddy Sammy owes me 50 years of back child support at $1 Million per year. That means Hagar owes me $50 Million. I will accept half that in cash. My attorney has already started proceedings.”

Sammy Hagar commented, “This must be some kind of mistake. Where did he get the DNA test from, the dollar store? Jason who? I never heard of this kid, I don’t watch much TV. I like to drink tequila.”
