Bruce Dickinson, has been a pilot for many years. He flew Iron Maiden around the world in their customized jumbo jet dubbed Ed Force One, named after MAIDEN’s iconic mascot Eddie. Bruce told Madhouse News that he and his sons will be personally flying the aircraft. Commercial pilots are thrown out of the airplane without a parachute the moment they reach age 65. When the time comes, Dickinson plans on getting around that by declaring the flights he pilots as ‘Private’. “If I just say it’s a private flight, I can keep flying the planes until I am 90. There is always a loophole.”

Old & Rusty

Dickinson continued, “Most of the planes in our fleet are old and rusty. They have a lot of mechanical problems, but we got them cheap. How else do you expect us to keep the ticket prices low?  Our drunken fans won’t care as long as we liquor them up and show them some boobies.”

Things could get confusing as all flights will be flight number 666. All round trip tickets will cost $666 and every seat will be number 666. “I am psyched, woo hoo, I got my tickets” said Iron Maiden fan Mike Hammond. “I don’t even care if the plane crashes as long as I can listen to Maiden on the way down. Run for the Hills b*tches. Woo Hoo.” The maiden voyage will be at the end of August. Three flights will be available from London and New York City to Brazil for the Iron Maiden concerts there.
