Bob Dylan Stars in New Sitcom “Here’s Bobby”

Bob Dylan will star in a new sitcom in 2021. The show entitled “Here’s Bobby” is currently in production and will air on CBS, Tuesdays, immediately following ‘B Positive’.

The premise of the show is that Dylan works as an Elementary School teacher during the day and as a Private Investigator by night. “My character ‘Bobby Lipschitz’, is a singing science teacher who gets involved in his student’s lives” said Dylan. “It’s an educational show as well. Mr. Lipschitz is always doing cool experiments. Then at night, he solves crimes.”

In addition to Dylan, Joni Mitchell will portray Bob’s ex wife, Stella. “Joni was the perfect ex for Dylan” said Producer Norman Lear (prior to his death). “They really hate each other. You can cut the tension with a knife. Joni agreed immediately when I told her she can curse and spit at Bob and throw things at him.”

Mr Lipschitz has a sidekick as well, it’s his dog named ‘Hurricane’. Hurricane is a Boxer and together they solve crimes and mysteries and have many exciting adventures. On the first episode, the duo track down missing lunch money, and solve a triple homicide.

“I have written some new songs that I am really excited about” said Dylan. “Each week I will perform a new song or rework one of my old songs to illustrate the science experiment. Mr. Lipschitz sings to the kids as a teaching tool. In the first episode we re-recorded ‘Subterranean Homesick Blues’ to explain the ‘Tornado in a Bottle’ experiment. I fart in a jar, and light it on fire and it creates the tornado in a bottle.”

Dylan’s young girlfriend is played by Lindsay Lohan, and The Jonas Brothers make a special appearance as Mr. Lipschitz grandsons. Charlie Sheen plays history teacher, “Claude Balzac” and Mike Tyson stars as the Chief of Police, “Chief Sassafras”, who is always butting heads with Dylan. This is sure to be a hit.
