Axl Rose Arrested For Stating ‘Chinese Democracy’ is GNR’s Best Album

Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose was arrested today by authorities in Madrid, Spain. Rose was detained and questioned after stating “Chinese Democracy” was GNR’s best album. Axl first made the outlandish claim to a crowd during a recent concert. He then reiterated the blasphemous comment during an interview during an appearance on “Sabado Gigante”.

“An investigation has been opened over these foolish comments” Madrid police spokesperson Alejandro Rey told Madhouse News. “These kinds of statements are dangerous. They can cause incitement of the people. Plus they assault the human dignity of everyone who is subjected to them.”

Rey continued, “Everyone knows Appetite for Destruction is Guns N’ Roses best album. Of course I would not agree with it but I would accept it if he said, ‘Use Your Illusion’ was their best album. It doesn’t matter if it’s 1 or 2. Maybe I could even stomach ‘Lies’ or ‘The Spaghetti Incident’ but ‘Chinese Democracy’? That is an insult and slap in my face. I take that personally.”

Released in 2008, “Chinese Democracy” was the result of a lengthy, torturous creative process that left fans anxiously waiting for over a decade. Fans were in shock. Guns N Roses fan Jake Anderson commented, “I am concerned for Axl’s well being. This is an obvious cry for help. No one in their right mind would make a statement like that. The Chinese Democracy (CD) album is wide open a$$. I recorded myself on the toilet today. I had a nasty case of the squirts and I will put that recording up against CD any day.”

Axl has been remanded to the Charo Hospital for the criminally insane in Madrid, Spain. He is currently being observed. Doctors will assess his mental condition while playing the album at full blast. Hopefully Axl will come to his senses and will be released in time to continue the Guns N’ Roses tour.
