Tipper Gore: I Only Started PMRC As a Way to Meet Prince
Tipper Gore, former second lady, and former wife of former Vice President Al Gore, has made a stunning confession. Tipper told Madhouse News that the only reason she spearheaded the infamous censorship campaign, was as a way to meet sexy singer, Prince.
In 1985, Tipper led a fight to have parental warning labels affixed to record albums that contained sexually explicit lyrics, portrayed excessive violence, or glorified drugs.

The official story goes: Gore had become personally aware of the availability of “porn rock” when her eleven-year-old daughter, Karenna, bought Prince’s Purple Rain because she liked the song “Let’s Go Crazy.” When mother and daughter listened to another song on the album, “Darling Nikki,” which described a girl masturbating with a magazine in a hotel lobby, Gore was astounded. Her concerns were largely based on her background as a big mouth yenta.
Gore now confesses that the actual story is that her daughter walked in on her while she was pleasuring herself to a picture of Prince. “I loved him” giggled Tipper. “I thought he was the most dreamy boy I had ever seen. As you can imagine Al was not exactly a dynamo in the sack. He often cried and called me mother. So I really became obsessed with Prince. He was all I could think about.”

Tipper tried to meet Prince several times, including once hiding in the crawlspace behind Prince’s hotel room bed. She was later discovered with a flashlight, a bible, rope, duct tape, and a giant ‘marital aid’. Prince rejected all requests. “I am busy, I don’t meet with Congress, Senators, Kings, Queens and especially not loud mouth yenta congressional wives” said Prince during an interview with Arsenio Hall.
As a congressional wife, Tipper devised a plan with some of the other congressional yentas. “If I start some sort of controversial group and try to censor Prince and his music, then he will have to pay attention to me, and eventually he will fall in love with me.” said Gore. “At the very least, I will get to meet him. Unfortunately for me Prince never paid any attention to the PMRC and I never got to meet him. With my luck, Dee Snider shows up instead. OMG what a creep. Anyway, I never got over Prince. To this day I leave a single red rose on his grave every year on his birthday.”
