Ice-T Uses Coco as Flotation Device After Boat Sinks in Florida

Rapper Ice-T was very fortunate his wife Coco was with him when his boat sank off the coast of Florida. Ironically the boat was named Titanic II. Ice-T would have been in big trouble since he cannot swim and the boat did not have any life jackets. Luckily Coco comes equipped with two giant flotation devices which saved the couples lives as well as 6 other passengers.

Ice-T recounted the harrowing details of being adrift for 12 hours with just Coco to stay afloat. It all began when the wind picked up and waves started crashing with almost no warning onto the 27-foot boat the couple were using to fish for red snapper. Within minutes, the vessel started sinking, as waters flooded the deck of the boat.

Eight people suddenly found themselves in the middle of the ocean as the boat completely disappeared under the sea. Coco sprang into action and used string to tether the 7 others to her back. “Hop on” said Coco, “I am a human flotation device and I will guide us to safety.”

The passengers spent a harrowing night in the water. They were attacked by a shark but Coco jammed a thumb in the shark’s eye and it swam off. “We pretty much just hunkered down with each other, held each other pretty close, and then just tried to stay warm,” said Ice-T. “The water was warm, and we drank our own urine to stay hydrated.”

Snoop Dogg to the Rescue

With no phone signals available and batteries dying, Coco eventually was able to post a selfie to Instagram before her phone died. Her 3 million followers quickly criticized her skimpy bikini and made countless catty remarks. However, fellow rapper Snoop Dogg saw the post and quickly alerted the coast guard.

By daybreak, a Coast Guard plane spotted Coco’s leopard print bikini. Soon A helicopter plucked 3 of the stranded passengers from the water while Coast Guard personnel and Snoop Dogg on a boat rescued three others. Coco and Ice-T decided to continue floating the rest of the way to shore by themselves. “We wanted some quiet time” said Ice-T. “Coco is amazing, she saved us all and that’s just one of the many reasons why I love her.”
