Neil Young To Keep Songs on Spotify If Joe Rogan Chokes Out David Crosby

Neil Young To Keep Songs on Spotify If Joe Rogan Chokes Out David Crosby

In a bold move, Neil Young has made a counter offer just one day after demanding Spotify remove his music or Joe Rogan’s podcast. Young has come back to the table with a deal that he believes will make everyone happy.

Young demanded in an open letter that Spotify remove all of his music because he doesn’t like what Joe Rogan says on his podcast. “There is no room for questioning authority in our society” said Young. “That leads to trouble. They know what’s best for us and we should blindly trust them. I want all of my music off of your platform immediately. Well, except for ‘Trans’ and a lot of that other crap I did in the 80’s. It’s me or Rogan. One of us has to go.”

Trains

Apparently Young has been ticked off at Rogan ever since the comedian made fun of the fact that Neil likes to play with trains. “I told him I would get him back for that” said Young. “Revenge is best served cold. A lot of grown men like to play with trains. There is nothing wrong with it.”

Neil’s new offer is that Spotify can continue to stream all of his music as well as Rogan’s podcast, but only if they persuade Joe Rogan to choke out David Crosby. Crosby is Young’s former bandmate and current mortal enemy. Neil has hated Crosby ever since the ‘Croz’ called Young’s wife Daryl Hannah “a purely poisonous predator”.

Young stated “If Rogan chokes that SOB Crosby out and I can see his tongue hanging and his eyes bulging, then it will be a win-win for everyone and all will be forgotten. “I hate Crosby way more than I hate Spotify or Joe Rogan.”

Question Authority

Young recently sold 50 percent of the worldwide copyright and income interests in his 1,180 song catalogue to Chinese billionaire Zhong Shanshan. Neil plans to re record some of his songs to reflect his current state of mind. “When I wrote Ohio, I was a dumb kid. Now I realize Nixon was right. Those darn kids were questioning authority and had it coming to them.”
