New York City - My favorite Irish Punks are back in NYC, and they are throwing the biggest party in town.
Flutes, accordions & banjos all make you think of Punk music right? Well they do now thanks to Dave King and his band of Irishmen,  playing their brand of drunken lullabies.

The White Buffalo and Dylan Walsh did a great job warming up the crowd. Be sure to check these artists out in more detail.

Flogging Molly have a new album ‘Life is Good’ , out on June 2, on Vanguard Records. ‘Life is Good’, is the long awaited album from the band.  Their last release was 2011.  They premiered 4 incredible new songs off the album, and they were received warmly by the crowd.

The crowd was a mix of young and old, and were crazy enthusiastic. Singing along to favorites such as ‘Drunken Lullabies’, ‘Devils Dance Floor’, ‘Life in a Tenement Square’ , ‘The Worst Day Since Yesterday’ and much more. There was crowd surfing and a nice ‘pit’ going. Punk Music was alive and well on this day in NYC my friend.

Flogging Molly closed the show with the Monty Python classic ‘Always Look on the Bright Side of Life’.  A 5 star show by a 5 star band. I am pretty sure “Life is Good” is going to be a 5 star album as well. Buy it June 2.  If you get a chance to see them, don’t miss it.  Guinness for everyone.
