Philadelphia, PA - The show was billed as…Adam Ant performs the iconic album ‘Kings of the Wild Frontier’ in it’s entirety, and much more. A dream come true for any punk new wave fan of the 80’s. ‘Kings of the Wild Frontier’ was ground breaking when it was released in 1980. A sound we never heard before. Adam Ant was perfect for the MTV Generation. Handsome, cool, style, everything you could want in a Rock Star. Boy did he deliver, ‘Stand & Deliver’, Adam was everywhere and everything during the 1980’s.

The Keswick Theater was sold out and packed with Ant Music fans of all ages. Little Kids and grown men dressed in their finest swashbuckling Ant gear and face paint. After a wonderful opening performance by the ‘Glam Skanks’, Adam hit the stage right on time.

The crowd hit their feet as Adam hit the stage. I was immediately transported back to 1980. As unbelievable as it may sound, Adam looked even better than he did back then. He sounded amazing as well. The band was tight, as they played their hearts out. The band was complete with double drummers, and the girl drummer looking splendid in Marie Antoinette hair and dress. Adam was happy, dancing, singing, playing guitar.

As stated, they performed the whole album ‘Kings of the Wild Frontier’. A perfect album. ‘Dog Eat Dog’, ‘Ant Music’, ‘Jolly Roger’, etc.. the crowd was on their feet the entire time. Showing the love to Adam. Adam gave it right back.

Then came the ‘much more’, part of the show. ‘Stand & Deliver’, ‘Vive Le Rock’, ‘Goody 2 Shoes’ , ‘Prince Charming’ and a remarkable cover of ‘Get It On’ by T-Rex.
It was a great time.  It was great to see Adam still standing, taller than ever, after all these years, and all the adversity. Adam we stand with you. Truly, a 5 star performance by a living legend. We all look forward to what is to come in the future for Adam Ant.
