Roger McGuinn Beats David Crosby with Bible

Roger McGuinn is in hot water for bashing former “Byrds” bandmate David Crosby with a Bible on Sunday, police told Madhouse Magazine.

McGuinn and David Crosby, got into an argument outside of a coffee shop at 7 a.m., police said. McGuinn, a born again Christian, was incensed that Crosby was gorging himself on donuts instead of attending Sunday church services. McGuinn was lecturing Crosby about the virtues of treating his body as a temple, and admonished the slovenly Crosby for not finding the lord.

McGuinn lost it when Crosby belched in his face, and began to punch Crosby. McGuinn then grabbed the Good Book and smacked Crosby in the head and ear with it, cops said. McGuinn began screaming “Out Devil Out!” and reciting bible verses while whacking Crosby with the bible.

“He was reciting Ezekiel 25:17” said witness Scott Roland. “You know, from Pulp Fiction, that was some real gangsta shit! – The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness, for he is truly his brother’s keeper and the finder of lost children.”

Crosby called 911, and told police he suffered significant pain on his head and his ears were ringing after the beating.

McGuinn was questioned at the scene and ticketed for desecration of a bible.
